Our vertically integrated Sub.Zero products

Rethink.

Think of a zero waste future where waste is a resource, recycled to make low carbon fuels enhancing fuel sovereignty. Here’s how Xseed makes it happen…

How to benefit

Hydrogen represents one of the cleanest most versatile future facing energy sources. Hydrogen facilitates a diverse range of products including industrial materials, fertiliser, fuel and in power generation. Upcycling enables affordable solutions for carbon abatement and transition to non-fossil fuel economies.

Our Sub.Zero value proposition benefits from:

  1. Low carbon impact renewable power

  2. Recycling landfill waste into low carbon resources

  3. Utilising low carbon methanol as an efficient hydrogen carrier

  4. Delivering zero emissions Grade A hydrogen

  5. Producing low carbon methanol to decarbonise road, rail, sea and air transport vehicles

What to do

  1. Tell us your operation, routes, fleet and fuel needs

  2. We match you to supply, a pricing model, and the refuelling stations that fit

  3. Choose your path, battery electric, fuel cell electric, H2 dual fuel or H2 ICE.

  4. Refuel at public Sub.Zero stations along the green corridor or operate your own private refuelling or recharging depot(s).

  5. Benefit from lower, more predictable fuel costs, and emissions reductions you can report to win and keep contracts.

Bus & passenger

  • Enables refuelling of your vehicle as quickly as diesel, enabling greater vehicle use and less downtime

  • Offer a differentiated, sustainable choice to your passengers

  • Avoids the extra weight of heavy batteries, that can reduce payload capacity and sales returns

  • Locally sourced, Sub.Zero hydrogen is targeted to be priced competitively with diesel

  • Hydrogen at a fixed price, typically with long term contracts, at parity with diesel forecasts enables you operate your business with confidence.

Off-grid & backup

  • Replace your diesel generators with a methanol to power solution. Ideally suited for AI data centres and remote homes off-grid

  • Sub.Zero stationary power stations provide you with energy resilience and grid independence for your electricity power needs

  • Sub.Zero mobility stations offer local Sub.Zero hydrogen and methanol top-up supplies

  • Install a Sub.Zero refuelling station at your dedicated site / depot with a long term Sub.Zero methanol supply agreement

  • Regional Sub.Zero station licences are available, at no upfront cost, enabling you to offer hydrogen and fast charge power to attract more customers

Corporate Carbon Partner

  • Tangible local projects that decarbonises your supply chain

  • A lower carbon footprint may help win new work and enhance your sustainability value proposition with employees and stakeholders.

Upcycling - Our vertically integrated value chain

01 Collect

Landfill based waste disposal is becoming economically and environmentally untenable: rising development and operating costs, tightening emissions expectations and finite capacity are all colliding with population growth, while many councils have set 2030 targets to materially reduce landfill volumes. Sending residual waste to landfill is a double loss – it imposes long‑term environmental and cost burdens and forgoes the opportunity to recover a large fraction of its embedded fuel potential.

Collecting this waste addresses this gap and by upcycling residual waste into hydrogen, power and heat, captures in the order of 60% of the waste’s usable energy content, with higher overall efficiency when integrated into combined heat and power configurations.

The landfill material, upcycled to a valuable resource, is sourced locally reducing the emissions associated with transporting the hydrogen long distances.

02 Recycle

Climate positive hydrogen. The natural process of photosynthesis uses sunlight and carbon dioxide to “crack” the strong hydrogen-oxygen bond in water and produce the oxygen we breathe. The “leftovers” are stored as hydrocarbons in plants, that in the end make up most of our non-recyclable materials. There is no natural source of hydrogen, with most hydrogen molecules essential in fossil fuel, water and biomass.

Our Grade A hydrogen is produced using those photosynthesis chemistry principles, efficiently combining low impact renewable power, regenerative landfill materials, and recycling captured carbon to provide below zero emissions hydrogen.

Hydrogen produced locally at integrated circular economy Sustainability Precincts nearby to where it is to be used.

03 Deliver

Our preferred distribution carrier for Sub.Zero hydrogen is as low carbon methanol. Uniquely, our climate positive hydrogen production is achieved efficiently with low carbon content carbon dioxide fully captured directly as part of the production process. Low carbon methanol is produced at our Precincts from synthesising and distilling the hydrogen and carbon dioxide.

As methanol, Sub.Zero hydrogen enhances its’ Grade A status when measured from where it is produced to where it is being used, or “well to point” basis. This arises from the attributes of attaining the highest energy efficiency, together with the lowest carbon intensity and costs, as compared to alternative hydrogen carriers.

Our modular technology enables Precincts to be decentralised, enabling local production of our Sub.Zero resources. This distributed network of Precincts production facilities minimising transport distances, carbon impacts and the costs of distributing to Sub.Zero stations.

This network of integrated Precincts and refuelling stations enables to build of transport green corridors to service various transport sectors.

04 Dispense

We plan to develop a network of Sub.Zero refuelling and recharging stations to support the operation of zero emission vehicles. The Sub.Zero stations, distributed to provide Sub.Zero hydrogen and fast charge power, will supply ZEV operating with various vehicle powertrains. Powertrains could include:

  • battery electric,

  • fuel cell electric,

  • hydrogen internal combustion engine, and

  • hydrogen dual fuel.

Hydrogen refuelling times are short, usually less than 15 minutes.

Integral to building transport green corridors initial Sub.Zero stations will be located and serviceable from producing Precincts. As greater numbers of Precincts are developed and Sub.Zero hydrogen customer agreements secured with fleet owners and operators, the frequency and number of refuelling stations is anticipated to increase.

We will be developing a Sub.Zero App that provides the location and availability of Sub.Zero stations, capable to be used for refuelling, recharging and payment.
